Star Nosed Mole

The scientific name for these Star Nosed Mole is "Condylura cristata" (as if you understand that :D)

This Ugly Animal is a small mole that is widely found in the Eastern Canada's wet low areas and also in the North-Eastern parts of United States. These Ugly Animals are said to be good swimmers and are capable of scrounging on the bottoms of ponds and streams. These are found to be very active during the winter season. The interesting fact is they become independent after about 30 days and are completely mature after 10 months.

Without eyes, with weird nose, with long nails - it is not a lovely animal at all. This one is perfect example of ugliness.

Ugh. Its face reflects its habitat... "where the sun don't shine". Star Nosed Mole a.k.a. Anus Face.

wow stop calling it an ugly animal. it's cute and smart and can become independent only after 30 days. humans take years until they go off on their own. you have no right to call another creature ugly because you are yourself imperfect.

you yourself are imperfect so don't call another creature ugly.

Aha don't knock these little critters. I didn't know they were good swimmers. I rescued one from a stream that I was fishing. It was floating down the stream. I didn't know what it was at first until I thought about it for a bit. unfortunately it died on me. I laid it down on the bank thinking it would revive but it didn't.

thanks Don
